Paul McCartney. Ex-Beatle. The dude pictured above with the dog. Veg*n.

IS HE A VEGAN, OR WOT?!?!?!!? he preaches non-meat and advertises for PETA. his lovely deceased wife had a heavily dairy and egg based vegetarian frozen meal line, yet his cunty ex-wife is a vegan spokeswoman. not to mention his daughter with her vegan fashion line.

ARE YOU A VEGAN, PAUL? or are you a mere vegetarian?

Paul and Linda raised all four of their children as vegetarians, and it looks like, for Paul, veganism may be on the horizon. “My son James is a big surfer, fit and healthy and he's a vegan. So far he's the only one in our family who is a vegan and he's telling us all that we should be vegan, too. He's right and we know he's right but we're just a little slow in getting around to it. He's cool! I know there's now a whole heap of science to show that vegetarians and vegans are healthier and live longer.

Stella McCartney uses wool, NOT VEGAN.

Yes, but that article is 11 years old. Coincidentally, I was spending time with a vegetarian friend the other night who is also friends with Paul. I'm working on a position statement - what I have so far is "strictly vegetarian, no leather etc.". Paul is a big horse rider (he owns a lot of horses in Scotland and Arizona) so is almost certainly not vegan.

All I know is he gave the Dalai Lama serious shit for being a meat eater. Not a fan of his music but he deserves major props for calling out the DL on such a hypocritcal lifestyle choice. You can't preach Ahimsa while at the same time you're picking bone marrow out from between your teeth.
