Hi, I'm new here.

I'll be going to Hollywood & Highland in an hour and a half and I'm looking for restaurant suggestions. What are the best restaurants in the area in which to find good vegan food?

Supposed the Veggie burger at 25 degrees is good http://www.25degreesrestaurant.com/holl ... umain.html I've read that Woody Harelson eats there and it'd be the closest thing I can think of for you off the top of my head.

Thanks, that place looks like it has potential. Is the veggie burger vegan?

I should have added that we'll have a car and we don't mind driving 10-15 minutes away from there to get to a good restaurant but we would prefer to eat someplace that is reasonably priced.

Also, it is probably best to avoid West Hollywood if possible since there is a parade there tonight and several streets are closed.

if you've got a car the sky is the limit! just go to http://maps.google.com and put in the location where you'll be departing for food from and click search nearby and type VEGAN endless.

the only close by one I can think of is The vegan house, but they tend to be kinda sketchy. if you can head up to mel's they have a nice veggie burger... or did years ago when I popped by.

Thanks for the suggestions! We ended up driving to Pure Luck. It was our first time there and we really liked it.

is that the Mel's burger? I remember having like a black bean burger when I was there... but I don't member the name on it. it was about five or six years back. But I would not put it past who I was there with, to tell me it was vegan and it not be.

Maybe he got the veggie sandwich? I've always been tempted to hit the place up since its open 24x7

a little late to answer, but!

koji's shabu shabu on the top level of the hollywood/highland center has an all-you-can-eat veggie shabu shabu platter on the cheap!

it comes with tons of veggies, udon, glass noodles and tofu, plus as much chili paste to add to your boiling broth as you can handle.
