Chef Tigre does an incredible job at Sante. The food is so lovingly prepared with such high quality ingredients that Sante could well become one of my favorite places to eat in LA. However, it can take a VERY long time to get served (today was 43 minutes from placing the order to getting the food -- and this was at lunchtime!).
Also, this was the second time I've had very slow service. Wouldn't post here with only a first infraction.
Anybody had similar experiences?

i think i've been to sante four times and had a wait 30 minutes or longer 3 of those times. i wonder if it would take forever if we got our food to go. let's try it!

Has anyone seen the Kitchen Nightmares episode when Gordon Ramsay went to Santa La Brea? I really want to go, but a friend and my mom both saw the episode and said the place was kind of dirty.

The sons are both super nice and I think the Dad comes off as really caring in the episode. Maybe best to call in your order before you set off for lunch  I just think its a slow motion kind of place. Which could be good for a date since you could get through many beers before the food
